Plot
Charity tries to appeal to Cain’s better nature by pleading that if she ever meant anything to him he should tell the truth. With Debbie present, Cain confidently assures Charity that everything has worked out for the best and affectionately goes to hug her. Seething with anger, Charity attacks him until Zak tears them apart, reminding them to think about their daughter. Val is left fuming when Eric turns down her offer of lunch only to see him walking out of his house with a young girl. When she confronts him, Eric confesses that he was having some watches valued as he is facing financial ruin. Len accepts Tom’s offer on Jacob’s Fold and begins to reminisce about the good times in the village. He questions whether or not they are doing the right thing.
