Plot[]
Louise and Matthew grab an opportunity to sneak off to a guest house together. Post coital Matthew half-heartedly suggests she lie to Terry in order to spend more time with him. Louise agrees but quickly susses that Matthew doesn’t appreciate how difficult she finds being dishonest to Terry. Upset she calls the affair off and leaves. Meanwhile, Eric suggests to Val that with his factory and business acumen and her sewing skills they could set up a successful soft furnishings company together. After a successful day trip with Scott and their daughter Jean, Zoe tells Effie, the nanny, how impressed she is with the effort Scott has been making as a father.
