Plot[]
At Demdyke Row, Joe is in the middle of burning his fingers on the cooker when Glenda arrives for her meal. But she immediately pours cold water on his lascivious plans by telling him that her manager Grant Edwards is coming to pick her up at eleven. Joe proceeds to call Glenda a cock-teaser which naturally hurts her. She leaves in the middle of the meal to a torrent of abuse. The next day as the congregation piles out of church, and breaks up into small groups, Sam attracts Amos' attention to an amazing sight - the gypsies are leaving.
