Plot[]
As Mrs Acaster prepares to depart Beckindale, Donald prepares for the arrival of his son Clive, something which he is not looking forward to. He tells Annie that his son is a bit of a cowboy and has the idea that he's going to go prospecting for gold in the Dales. Mrs Acaster is leaving in better circumstances than when she arrived in Beckindale. She summons Dolly to the back room in the pub to have a private goodbye session, where even a tear or two is shed. The two of them seem to be friends now. More goodbyes are said and Sam hands over a present before Henry drives Mrs Acaster to the train station.
