Plot
Donna and Scott confront Viv who admits she's going to have an abortion. Scott is devastated and ends up confiding in Terry that Viv's pregnant. Terry persuades Scott to tell Bob, convinced he has a right to know. Bob doesn’t believe him at first but when he hears she's gone for an abortion he races to the clinic. Meanwhile, Pearl is working in a grubby pub in Leeds under the pseudonym of Irene. She's quizzed by the landlord who has seen her in a missing persons ad in the local paper. Elsewhere, Matthew delights in telling Sadie the haulage company is moving back to the family portfolio, but Carl starts to feel shoved out now that Matthew is back in the family business.
