Plot
After Kelly is jilted by the property developer and then rejected by the Hopes she fixes her attention on Jimmy. The lonely pair go for a drink where Bob berates his stepdaughter for associating with Dawn’s killer. He warns her to keep away from Jimmy, but she later confides her true intentions to Scott. Elsewhere, Edna asks Pearl to move out, claiming she needs some time alone. With nowhere else to turn, Pearl pleads with Len to give their relationship another try. She’s stung when Len reveals he’s in love with Edna, but admits that she knew of his true feelings for some time. Meanwhile, Alan crumbles at Terence’s funeral and explains to Betty that he has lost everyone who was close to him. Betty assures him that he’s not alone and that Shelley might come back one day. Alan admits that Steph killed Shelley and she confessed to Terence’s murder to gain some penance.
