Plot[]
When the village awake to find the burned remains of the Kings billboard, culprits, Jamie and Bob, are thrilled to discover that it's got tongues wagging and gossip is rife as to the perpetrators responsible. Tom and Rosemary are convinced that it's Chas who, whilst denying all knowledge, warns that it's less than they deserve. Jimmy also suspects Chas and confronts her about it, but they share a common of resentment against Tom for separate accounts - with Chas telling Jimmy that his father needs to watch himself for now on. Meanwhile, Marlon and Donna are disheartened to discover that the quote for building their new house is above and beyond what they can afford. Attempts by the Dingle clan to help them in their plight are refuted by Marlon and Donna who want to ensure that everything is kept above board. When the police turn up, it has nothing to do with bricks and mortar, but with the shocking news that Lilith’s kids have gone missing. Also in the Dingle household, Belle begins her home schooling. Zak’s good intentions to teach her fall flat as he discovers that she actually knows more about maths and spelling than he does.
