Plot[]

Lexi feels guilty about the trouble she's caused when she hears that Jimmy is planning to leave the business and move out of Home Farm. Lexi sheepishly thanks Jimmy for not telling Scarlett and Carl about her betrayal, but Jimmy calls her manipulative and money-grabbing and says that Carl and Scarlett will soon find out for themselves. Rodney reminds Matthew that his insurance will cover the cost of the broken equipment and that Zak needs the money to pay for Belle. Matthew backs down and tells a relieved Zak that he will reimburse him, but insists he'll have to wait until the insurance company pay out. Realising it will be too late to pay Belle's school fees, a furious Zak quits his job. Val reveals her plans for Village Pub of the Year to Diane and Paul and they realise that they're an exact match for Eric's wedding reception requests. Diane is doubly furious to hear that Val will be selling tickets for 10 pounds each and unwittingly essentially charging guests at her own wedding. Diane confronts Eric but he manages to convince her that he has Val's best interests at heart. Also, Marlon discovers that celebrity chef Anthony Worrall Thompson will be judging the Village Pub of the Year competition.
