Plot[]
Bob is angry when he discovers that McNally has written a misleading article in the Courier about Viv's charity collections and it isn't long before Nicola confronts him and demands that her charity donation is returned. Later in the pub, Bob insists Viv pleaded guilty to save her family and nothing else, but Nicola claims the villagers all want their money back. Bob is shocked to hear that they plan to sue him. Everyone is against the Hopes apart from Edna. Doug plucks up the courage to face Brenda and he apologises for his scratching and confesses that he has crabs. Doug is even more mortified when he realises that she already knows about his predicament as the news has been already spread around the village by the gossipmongers. Brenda feels sorry for a humiliated Doug. Debbie is furious when she discovers that instead of working, Zak spent the day fishing with Donald. Zak protests that Donald gave him a huge tip for the cab journey and Debbie insists that he hand her the money to make up for missing out on working hours during the day. Debbie reminds Zak that he still owes her a fortune, but Zak refuses to be ordered around by Debbie. Also, Lexi wants a new job.
