Plot[]

Nicola moves her things back into Mill Cottage and prepares to tell Jimmy about the baby, but they are interrupted by a phone call from Carl. Nicola is delighted to see the look of horror on Lexi's face when she and Carl arrive home to learn of the proposal. Lexi lets on about Nicola's pregnancy and when Jimmy reacts without surprise, Nicola realises that Jimmy knew all along. Jimmy begs Nicola to believe that his proposal was genuine, but she tells him it's over! Bob is all too aware of his and Gennie's attraction and he tries his best to avoid her, but they are forced to work side-by-side when they have to prepare food for Laurel's birthday party. Gennie gets a phone call about a viewing on a flat and Bob confesses that he doesn't want her to move out and Gennie agrees that she feels the same. Elsewhere, Brenda is eager to get back to work, but Terry advises her to rest up and heal her ankle. Brenda is delighted when Doug gives her a wheelchair in order for her to get back into action. Terry is unimpressed that Doug is interfering in Brenda's life again and struggles to hide his jealousy.
