Plot
Adam and Scarlett only have eyes for each other and finally give in to their feelings. And Adam hasn't got to worry about John teasing him as John's more concerned with his own business, for a change. And it's not going well, as sheep keep dying. Carl's kids don't have meningitis and can leave hospital. Carl finally realises he's lucky to have Thomas and Anya. However, the doctors don’t know what caused their rashes. Carl's furious, with himself as much as anyone. He's determined to find out what made his children sick, no matter how long it takes. There's no good news for Maisie when she wakes up from her one-night stand. Her charming suitor has left money on the pillow. But, hey, she can use it to buy drinks! Which is exactly what she does in The Woolpack, her first stop when she's back in Emmerdale. Marlon gets a slap when he shows concern and Maisie runs to the loo. Hating the sight of herself she smashes her head into the mirror and collapses, which is where a frightened Katie finds her.
