Plot[]
Brenda stands alone looking at the wreckage of the fire. Bob realises he has to tell the kids that Viv is dead. Andy has slept on the sofa, giving Katie his bed. Betty is back from hospital and is with Carl at Mill Cottage, he asks her to stay for as long as she likes. Betty is thrilled and plans to move in. Henshall and Prior arrive and start their investigation into the fire. Andy and Katie look at the wreckage. Henshall sees them together. Bob sits with Brenda looking at the wreckage, she can't understand why Terry went in. Katie approaches Henshall and tells him she has a lot to thank him for. Zak worries that he could be responsible for the fire because of turps, rags and wood he left behind. He tries to reclaim some of his stuff but Prior stops him, telling him it's now evidence. Brenda asks Bob if there was anything going on between Terry and Viv. Bob insists there was not. A private ambulance arrives to remove the bodies. Henshall joins Katie for a drink at the Woolpack, she tells him Andy quickly got her out. Brenda says goodbye to Terry. Katie thanks Andy for rescuing her. Zak worries that he might be done for manslaughter. Chas suspects that Carl might have started the fire. Henshall confirms that the fire was started on purpose.
