Plot[]
Debbie takes to the stand and is floored by the defence barrister's suggestion that Lisa didn't tell Zak the truth because sex with Derek was consensual. Called back into court to hear the verdict, Lisa tries to remain strong as the jury find Derek guilty of the other woman's rape but not of raping Lisa. Arriving home, Lisa tells Zak the verdict and says that she wishes he'd done what she asked and stayed away from court yesterday - she went through the court case for him, not for herself, and he couldn't even be there for her properly. Zak is left bereft when Lisa walks off claiming she might be better off on her own from now on. Meanwhile, Leyla is clearing out her wardrobe and when David finds a necklace she is getting rid of, he asks if she'd mind if he gave it to Amy as a thank you for all her hard work. Having been given the green light, David gives the necklace to Amy who instantly reads more into it and delights in showing it to Victoria and Hannah. However, all her dreams are dashed when Leyla comments on the necklace and her friends can't help but stifle a giggle. Elsewhere, Charity persuades Chas to go to the cinema with Nikhil, wanting him out of the house so she and Jai can have a romantic night in. Much to Gennie's dismay, Chas agrees and Nikhil's surprised when Chas suggests they quit the date and have a night in instead.
