Plot

David and Alicia wonder how to spend the mystery money. Edna sneaks an envelope of money into Ruby's bag. Bernice and Andy arrange another meeting. Having left them in a separate cell overnight, PC Swirling releases Diane and Eric without charge. However, Val is not so lucky and PC Swirling charges her with Criminal Damage, Threatening behavior and Assault, fuelling her anger further. Kerry enlists the help of Amelia and Victoria to help her make a wedding video. Ruby and Ali are confused but touched when they find the envelope full of cash. Jacob lets it slip to Leyla about the money that Alicia and David have received. Refusing a lift home, Val arrives back at The Woolpack splattered in mud. Alicia squirms as Leyla suggests they must have fiddled their insurance claim and David feels awkward when Leyla mentions her recently deceased boss 'Cheesy'. Kerry bids for a wedding dress on eBay. The penny drops for Alicia that the money was meant for Leyla, who used her name when working at the club. Diane is desperate to make amends with her sister, but Val is stubborn. David and Alicia quickly leave Leyla's. Alicia starts to feel guilty about spending Leyla's money. Val breaks down and Diane does her best to support her. The two share a hug.
