Plot[]
Joe returns to Beckindale and runs into Barbara. Alan asks Seth where John and his team are. Seth doesn't know and Alan threatens to fire the lot of them. Amos is concerned when Walter doesn't turn up at the pub. Henry warns Amos that if he doesn't apologise to John, they could go under. Jackie is uncomfortable when he walks in on Dolly breastfeeding Samuel. Dolly offers to help Jackie with Matt following their argument the previous day. Alan arrives at Ridge Farm and suspends Daniel, John and Jock. Daniel points out he's a cowman, not a general labour but Alan snaps at him. Alan tells them they are employed as general labourers and have to do whatever they are asked to do. He also tells them to leave by 1pm or else they will be treated as trespassers. The Woolpack is still dead following Amos driving all the customers away. Alan is impressed when Henry tells him that Amos banned union discussion from the NY Estates employees in the public bar. Alan buys Amos a large scotch and asks him to call him "Alan" rather than "Mr. Turner". Joe learns about the situation with John, Daniel and Jock and tries to help them. Matt makes amends with Jackie and jokingly tells Seth off. Joe suggests the trio stay put as he goes to have it out with Alan. Alan thanks Amos for supporting him regarding his workforce. Amos and Alan arrange to have a game of golf the next day with some of Alan's golfing friends. Matt and Jackie inspect the paddocks and fail to notice they're being watched. Joe confronts Alan, Alan refuses to back down from suspending the trio and blames Joe for the situation. He tells Joe that they either do as their told, or leave.
