Plot[]
Alan is prepared to risk the union backing John. Joe points out head office will not appreciate this but Alan doesn't care. Pat is concerned when Jackie doesn't turn up but is relieved when Dolly tells her he's still with Matt. Dolly is still in two minds about getting Samuel immunised. Pat says Jackie had an allergic reaction - just a fever related to whooping cough. Henry makes clear he disapproves over Amos lying to Alan about being able to play golf. Amos proudly tells Seth that Alan took his advice and sacked John and his crew. Seth rushes off. Jackie notices a car outside the gate of the field and becomes suspicious. The car drives off. Barbara accepts Alan's job offer as secretary, Donald is slightly disappointed as he was hoping she'd help him. Joe tells the trio he can get overtime but not recognition - he can't get both. John wants to go to the union when he learns they could get the sack but is talked into giving Alan a couple of days. Alan shows Barbara around the office. Henry gives Amos a golfing lesson, he is annoyed by Amos not listening but impressed by Amos's swinging. Dolly is unsure if she wants to vaccinate Sam because of what Pat said, and points out that Mary at playgroup won't get her daughter vaccinated. Matt points out that Sally could get whooping cough and fall ill for up to two months. He advises Dolly to get a medical opinion before making any decisions. Seth drops off some golfing gear for Amos and receives 2 cans of beer as payment. As he leaves, he notices a large moving truck drive past. They drive to a field at Emmerdale Farm and begin opening up the van...
