Plot[]
Part One: Lydia, Mandy, Vinny and Sam return to Wishing Well Cottage. Lydia is puzzled why her mother would want to hand over money to her but not give it to her herself and wonders how she found out her new name. Mandy discovers Agatha lives in Hotten but Lydia isn't keen to see her. Having found out from Laurel, Charity finds Sarah bunking off school with Danny in Jacobs Fold and kicks him out, worrying about what they both may be intending to get up to. Cain is unfazed and tells Aaron they will deal with the gang should they track them down. Sam tries to convince Lydia to go and see her mother but she thinks it best to leave things as they are. Arthur is annoyed when Jai arrives to see Laurel. Laurel apologises to Jai for her accusations and the pair make up. Jai mentions how he called round earlier in the week but Arthur said that she wasn't in and how he text her but didn't receive a response. Dan worries to Amy about Kerry and Amy encourages him to forget about Kerry, claiming she isn't worth it. Nate informs Amy that he's got a job working at Dunstable's and invites her for a drink. Mandy finds a letter from Agatha in the file asking the solicitor to pass along her address to Lydia and shows it to her. She decides to go and see her mother after all.
Part Two: Cain finds Amy and Nate drinking together. Amy has a go at him for sleeping with Kerry in front of Nate, Charity and Bob. Dan tells an emotional Kerry that he wants to get back together with her. Lydia asks Sam and Mandy to wait in the car as she knocks on her mother's door. A woman answers saying she is Agatha's daughter. Vinny tries to get more of the casino job money from Charity but she can't spare any. When Sarah arrives at the pub, Charity tries to make things up with her but only ends up annoying her further. Lydia explains to the woman that she is her sister and that Agatha sent her a substantial amount of money and left her address with a solicitor and she wanted to say thank you. The woman tells her that she's too late as Agatha died three weeks ago. Kerry reveals to Dan that she wasn't flat hunting when she missed dinner with him the other night but was sleeping with Cain. He realises she can't be trusted and wants her to get her own place as soon as possible. Lydia is devastated to hear that her mother is dead, her reaction prompting Sam and Mandy to get out of the car and join her. The woman is spooked by their presence and informs them that Agatha died of a sudden heart attack before leaving them on the doorstep. Cain blocks Moira's number when she tries to call him. He informs Aaron that they're dealing with a man named Sean and they'll be ready for him when he and his gang come for them. He neglects to mention that Sean is apparently a psycho. Mandy bangs on the door and gives the woman short shrift for not even inviting Lydia in so she can meet her sister properly. The woman informs her that she read about Lydia in the papers and learned all she needed to know and threatens them with the police if they don't leave. As Lydia's sister watches them go, Agatha appears, alive and well, disturbed by the commotion. Lydia's sister covers to her mother that it was just someone trying to sell raffle tickets.
