Episode 8651[]

Part One: Lydia breaks the news to Samson, Mandy and Vinny that her father died from Huntington's Disease and there is a chance she could have it too. Leyla wants to tell Jacob about Maya but David doesn't think it's a good idea. They agree to tell him later when Leyla points out that when news spreads of Maya's release, someone is bound to tell him. Sarah and Noah plan a party in Charity's absence. Belle and Nate meet at the Cricket Pavilion again. He tells Belle that he's tired of being patient and plans to have a word with Cain. Vanessa walks out of the pub when Charity tries to crack a joke with her. Chas leaves Charity to clear up sick in the ladies toilets as she needs to feed Eve. She tries to rope Dawn into cleaning for her when she arrives to collect her wages but is unsuccessful. Liam enquires to Dee Dee about her father and she tells him he is fine with Bernice marrying him. Dawn is amused when Billy informs her he's cooking them a meal and she finds the ready-meal packaging in the bin. Jacob and Leanna prepare to watch a film together. David and Leyla ask Leanna to leave them for a moment and break the news to him that Maya is being released from prison today. Cain overhears Dee Dee, Samson, Noah, Sarah and Gabby talking about the party but tells them their secret is safe with him. Dee Dee and Gabby tease Noah as he wonders if Leanna is going to be there. Vanessa is suspicious as she spots them all heading off in the direction of Jacobs Fold. Leyla and David are relieved when Jacob seems to take the news well and wants to go off and find Leanna.

Part Two: Agatha and Beth find Lydia in the café and want to talk things through with her. The party gets underway at Jacobs Fold and Danny arrives having brought some friends of his along. Samson worries to Sarah that the lads Danny has brought with him are trouble. Leanna notices Jacob is distracted while watching the film with him and tells him he can talk to her if he's upset. He reveals that Maya is being released from prison. Angered by her reaction, Jacob tells her he's wasting his time with her and walks out on her. Dawn freaks out when Billy refers to her as the love of his life and runs out on him. An angry Liam goes round to confront David and Leanna reveals to him and Leyla that Jacob has gone, presumably to meet Maya. David rushes out. Agatha apologises for landing the news about her father's condition on Lydia yesterday and promises straight answers to any questions she may have. Nate visits Cain at the garage and asks him to hear him out and then he'll go. He asks Cain to put himself in his shoes before apologising to him for all he's done now he knows the truth and wants Cain to give him a chance. Cain points out that he's still breathing so that's his chance. Kim, now back in the village, sees Nate leaving the garage. Leyla lets Dawn owe her for a four-pack of beer when she finds herself short on money at the shop. Dee Dee and Gabby get fed up with Noah talking about Leanna and slip away from the party. David speeds after the bus going to Skipdale and stops in front of it, forcing the bus to pull up. Danny introduces Sarah to his friend Jayden and mentions he may have something on him that will help Sarah loosen up a little.

Episode 8652[]

Part Three: David forces the bus driver to open the doors, making an embarrassed Jacob leave the bus. Beth and Agatha talk to Lydia about the test for Huntington's Disease. Lydia is shocked to realise that there is a 50% chance she could have been passed the gene which means she could develop the condition. David tries to persuade Jacob to get in the car with him but he walks along in the rain to the bus stop to wait for another bus. Charity thinks it best not to serve Nate until everything has calmed down between him and Cain when he arrives at the pub so Kim buys him one instead. David waits with Jacob at the bus stop in the rain. Jacob feels responsible for Maya going to prison but David reminds him that she is the only person responsible. He tries to make him realise that the best thing he can do for her is to let her get on with her life as if they are seen together then she risks going straight back to prison. Jacob believes no-one would know. He decides to send her a text. Noah is shocked by Sarah as she takes a PMA pill that Jayden gives her. David tells Jacob that he would call the police and tell them that he's seen him and Maya together to protect him from himself and asks him to change his mind. The bus arrives.

Part Four: Kim offers Nate a job and a place to stay. Vanessa arrives at the pub and tells Charity that a party is taking place at Jacobs Fold. She rushes over there and arrives just in time to see Sarah be sick all over the floor. Charity kicks everyone out as Vanessa tries to find out how much Sarah has drank. Sam worries about Lydia as her situation stirs up memories of Alice. She arrives back and reports about her discussion with Agatha and Beth and informs her family she isn't sure she wants to find out whether she has the condition or not. David arrives back at the shop with Jacob, telling Leyla that Jacob is going to move on and let Maya live her life. Jacob denies agreeing to any such thing and intends to see her in the future. Leyla asks Jacob if he's heard from Maya, noting that if she wanted to speak to him she surely would have been in touch by now. She mentions that if she was Maya and she had lost her reputation, friends, job and been sent to prison because of him, she would hate him. Charity cleans up sick for the second time of the day and is grateful as Vanessa helps her to tidy the house up. Vanessa encourages her to go easy on Sarah, mentioning that she's only doing what teenagers do. Charity wants Vanessa to stay but she tells her nothing has changed and leaves. Dawn goes back to see Billy and apologises, presenting him with the four-pack of beer she got from the shop. She's relieved when Billy mentions he was joking with her when he referred to her as the love of his life but admits he likes her. They kiss. Charity lays into Sarah for drinking alcohol with her heart condition. Sarah admits she just wanted to do something normal for a change. Behind Charity's back, Noah wonders to Sarah what Charity would be like if she knew what she'd really taken. He encourages Sarah to drop Danny as he texts her but she tells Noah to mind his own business. Jacob sits alone in his room and jumps to his phone when he receives a text but discovers it's only from a mate at college. He calls Maya and leaves a voicemail message for her, telling her he loves her and encouraging her to get another phone and contact him. Outside the prison, a heavily pregnant Maya leaves and deletes Jacob's number from her phone.
