Plot[]

Part One: Liv catches the postman in the morning, hoping that Aaron has a letter from Robert but he hasn't. Kyle requests that Cain get a Christmas tree. Aaron loafs around the house and plans to take a sick day from work. Nate calls to see Sam who tells him he can't be his uncle anymore unless Cain changes his mind. Sarah has an early finish at school and tells Charity she plans to spend the rest of the day with Danny. Vanessa suggests she bring Danny round to the pub so they can get to know him better. Nate leaves Pete to deal with the farm work in light of his family problems. Andrea informs Manpreet that Kim wasn't keen to get involved with the pantomime but she persuades her to have another go. Victoria shares her letter from Robert with Chas. The letter explains that he is hating being in prison but is keeping his head down and getting on alright. Victoria hopes Aaron will get a letter of his own as he is not mentioned in the letter at all. Moira overhears how Nate has ruined his chance with his family and takes satisfaction in gloating about how he was played by Charity who was trying to get back at Cain rather than do Nate a favour. Aaron overhears Liv arranging to keep secrets from him as she fills Victoria and Chas in on his injured hand yesterday, not convinced it was an accident. He walks in and demands to know what is going on. Victoria shows him the letter. Jacob and Leanna fight over a paint brush outside the Village Hall as they paint the pantomime sets. Leanna accidentally spills paint on Kim's car. An upset Aaron is upset over not being mentioned in Robert's letter and tells Liv that if she goes behind his back again then they are done. Nate watches as Cain returns to the garage with a Christmas tree. He sends Dan away on his lunch break. Aaron reads Victoria's letter alone on the footbridge. Nate tells Cain that if they can't settle their differences by talking, he's willing for him to fight him.

Part Two: Nate encourages Cain to fight him, saying he won't fight back, so they can put an end to things. They are interrupted as Chas calls Cain to say that Aaron has disappeared. Liv notices painkillers missing from the bathroom and begins to panic. Dan informs Charity that something violent might be brewing between Cain and Nate. She reluctantly leaves to check in on Cain as Sarah and Danny arrive at the pub. Sarah begs Noah not to mention anything about the drugs to Charity or Vanessa. Nate offers to help look for Aaron but Cain goes off with Sam. Nate begins to realise he's never going to be accepted by any of them. Pete presents Tracy with a gift - a necklace - and promises her something else on Christmas Day. Tracy breaks it to him that she hadn't factored in seeing him on Christmas Day, intending to spend it with Johnny. Pete tries to hide his disappointment but leaves as things become awkward between them. Jacob and Leanna try to clear up the paint but make it worse. Kim catches them and tells them off, causing Manpreet to think she is auditioning for the pantomime, Kim promises to bill Liam and David for the damage. Liv checks the Cricket Pavilion for Aaron. Chas goes to the scrapyard and finds Robert's car has gone. Aaron stops at a roadisde and begins sobbing uncontrollably. Liv notices Victoria's letter from Robert lying in the water below the footbridge. Cain and Sam find Robert's car. Liv fishes the letter out of the stream but suddenly has a seizure and falls to the ground, hitting her head on a rock.
