- To facilitate the programme's return to production on 20th May following the shutdown due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic, six episodes (this episode being the sixth and final lockdown episode) were filmed with strict social distancing measures in place and a par-backed crew, featuring characters during the lockdown via the use of two/three hander episodes. These episodes were filmed over a two week period. After this episode, all events and storylines that were paused in Episode 8800 (5th June 2020) begin again from the following episode.
- Also to facilitate this, the programme temporarily reduced further it's weekly output from 3 to 2 for the duration of these episodes.
