- This episode was originally due to be broadcast on Wednesday 29th April but pushed back due to the programme reducing its weekly output from six to three episodes in response to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.
- This episode was also the last episode to be fully completed before the shutdown of production on March 22nd. When production resumed on May 20th, six episodes were filmed with strict social distancing measures in place and a par-backed crew, featuring characters during the lockdown via the use of two/three hander episodes designed to keep the show on air throughout June 2020. These episodes were filmed over a two week period. All events and storylines that are paused after this episode begin again in Episode 8801 (29th June 2020).
