Plot[]
Dawn blames herself for Will moving out of Woodbine Cottage and worries how the change will affect Lucas. Harriet promises Dawn that it's not her fault and assures her Lucas will adapt. At Mulberry Cottage, Laurel struggles to get her head around the fact she's having another baby. When Jai appears, he suggests he get Gabby a job at the Hide. Will spots Billy in Main Street and thanks him for not going to the police. Billy wants nothing to do with this mess and assures Will he won't drop Dawn in it. After Billy walks off, Andrea invites Will back to Dale View to talk over his troubles out of nosy Nicola's earshot. Laurel realises something's bothering Jai about the baby. Jai admits he's scared and voices his concerns about having another baby later in life. Nicola listens in as Harriet tells Moira that she and Will are over. Meanwhile at Dale View, Will talks to Andrea about his relationship with Harriet. He tells her that Harriet isn't a good person - she preaches about being good when she's evil inside. Andrea questions what Harriet's done but Will won't say and passes his words off as him being hurt. Laurel tells Jai he's not the only one who's scared. She recalls how she had the same fears about being an older parent when she had Dotty but things were put into perspective when she thought she'd miscarried. Laurel states she really wants this baby. Jai does too and the expectant parents begin to look to the future. Leanna continues to send Gabby nasty texts. Gabby informs Diane that's Jai's got her a job at the Hide but she's scared of someone saying something to her. Diane urges her granddaughter to take the job and face everyone. Nicola sticks her nose into Harriet and Moira's conversation and offers her two cents much to Moira's ire. When Harriet, Moira and Nicola witness Will and Andrea conversing, Nicola jumps to the conclusion that Will cheated and that's why he and Harriet are over. Harriet orders Nicola to back off, admitting it wasn't Will who was playing away, it was her. Once everyone is out of earshot, Will thanks Harriet for defending him but affirms they are over and sleeping together yesterday was a mistake. Laurel books an antenatal appointment but she can't get a scan for three weeks. Afterward, Jai suggests he moves into Mulberry Cottage so he can be there for her and they can be a family. Leanna isn't happy to learn Gabby has got a job at the Hide. Jai books Laurel a private scan tomorrow and the excited parents-to-be begin speculating about their unborn child. In the church, Harriet kneels down to pray. When she joins her hands, she becomes aware of her engagement ring. She removes the ring and begins ranting to God. In a fit of rage, she knocks over the Christmas tree and destroys the other Christmas decorations.
