Plot[]
Will protests this isn't what Kim thinks. Kim has heard about Will's run ins with Jamie and believes he's here to settle the score so threatens to call the police. At Butlers Farm, Moira informs Cain she wants to invite Mackenzie over for Christmas but Mackenzie is the last person Cain wants to spend the festivities with. Will denies he's here to seek revenge on Jamie so Kim demands to know what he's doing wandering the Home Farm grounds then. Will lies he was poaching which Kim seems to buy. Marlon and Ellis follow Billy to a house where they witness Billy handing something to the resident in exchange for cash. Mackenzie turns down Moira's invite to Christmas. During the village's socially distanced carol singing, Nicola calls a distracted Harriet out for not singing. Subsequently, Harriet calls an end to the singing then walks off in tears. Kim is shocked to return home to find the house in a state and Mackenzie making cocktails whilst dancing along to loud music. She demands to know who he is and what he's doing in her house before ordering him to clean up his mess. A distressed Harriet returns to Woodbine Cottage where Will informs her they need to move the body tonight. Harriet doesn't believe she can do it but Will states she can and she will as he can't do this alone. Billy buys a round in the pub which heightens Ellis' suspicions that he's dealing drugs again. As Bob calls last orders, he gives Ellis Al's briefcase that Al accidentally left in the bar. In the dead of night, Harriet and Will dig up Malone's body. Harriet is already struggling, but when the smell of the decomposition hits her, she breaks down. At Tall Trees Cottage, Ellis goes through Billy's jacket pockets and finds a burner phone and a wad of cash so confronts his brother about dealing drugs again. A hurt Billy explains the burner phone is all he can afford because he sold his phone today as he had no money. Ellis feels awful. Mackenzie flirts with Kim but she's not interested and tells Mackenzie to see himself out. Mackenzie explains he's been staying at Home Farm but Kim doesn't care and gives Mackenzie a week to get out. Billy doesn't think things between him and Ellis are fixable after everything that's gone on. Ellis hates himself for that so encourages Billy to hit him. Billy keeps his cool then walks off. As Will and Harriet move Malone's body, Harriet throws up. Will pushes Malone's plastic wrapped body into the new grave then assures Harriet that it's nearly over. Ellis kicks Al's briefcase in frustration. When he picks the bag, the contents fall out. As Ellis puts everything back in the briefcase, he comes across a receipt for a couple's massage dated yesterday. He can't believe it. Before Will and Harriet leave Malone's burial site, Harriet prays to God to ask for forgiveness and redemption.
