Plot[]

Part One: Moira and Victoria are delighted to be reunited with Aaron. Moira queries how Adam is doing. Aaron assures her he's doing well. Kerry again warns Chloe to stay away from Mack as it's a bad idea to get on the wrong side of Charity. Talk soon turns to the house Kerry believes Al has bought her although Chloe thinks Al buying Kerry a house behind her back is controlling. Nate heads off to work but promises Naomi he'll be back in time for her plea hearing. Meanwhile at Victoria Cottage, Nicola is relishing the day in court as she can't wait to look the girls who attacked her in the eye and show them she isn't scared of them. Dan has arranged to take Harriet out for dinner, telling her his life wouldn't be half as good right now without her in it. Afterward, Dawn informs Harriet that she's going to the wedding and informs her she's invited too. Charity and Chloe have an awkward interaction in the café in front of a guilty Mack. Charity notices Chloe is acting odd so resolves to find out what's wrong much to Mackenzie's dismay.

Part Two: Over lunch, an excited Kerry gives Al plenty of opportunity to tell her about the house but Al doesn't take the bait so Kerry decides if Al doesn't give her her surprise, she's going to give him one of his own. Charles, Ethan, and Naomi set of for court without Nate. Paddy tells Aaron he's missed him and soon he opens up to Aaron about how he feels like he's not doing enough to support Chas. Aaron assures Paddy he's a brilliant husband and an amazing dad. Nate ditches Naomi's court hearing when Tracy appears with Frankie. Tracy explains she's here on a flying visit to see Vanessa and Faith, and suggests Nate spend some time with her and Frankie whilst they are here. Dawn tries to persuade Harriet to join her at Kim's hen tomorrow do but it's the last thing Harriet wants to do. After Dawn walks off, Harriet admits to Wendy that she still loves Will. Al and Chas meet in the woods where Al tells Chas he can't keep up the lies any longer. Chas reminds Al that if their affair comes out now, it'll ruin so may people's lives. Al understands there's a lot of obstacles in their way but he vows to be by Chas' side for all of it and decides to start by breaking up with Kerry today. Nate tells Tracy about his new relationship with Naomi. Tracy is happy for him. Nicola is shaken following her return from court. Al finds Kerry in the pub and tries to get her alone so he can end their relationship in private, but before he gets the chance, Kerry proposes marriage through the medium of rap. Al is horrified whilst the rest of the villagers in the pub, including Chas, watch on with horror and second-hand embarrassment. What will Al say?

Part Three: Kerry explains to Al that she knows all about the house he's bought them and wanted to make a grand gesture of her own. Al doesn't know what to say but eventually tells Kerry that of course he'll marry her. Naomi is upset with Nate for not being at her plea hearing. Nate explains he had the rare opportunity to spend some time with his daughter alone and apologises for not being there for her. Mack corners Chloe in the ladies' loos and has a go at her for being off with Charity earlier. After Chloe storms out of the toilets, Faith comes out one of the stalls much to Mack's horror. The villagers toast to Kerry and Al's engagement. In the ladies' toilets, Mack insists it wasn't what it sounded like but Faith isn't fooled so Mack admits he had a one-night stand with Chloe but makes it clear it was a mistake and he loves Charity. Wendy reminds Harriet that Dan is a decent man with many good qualities but Harriet states he'll never be Will. Wendy reminds Harriet that Will is marrying someone else. She encourages Harriet to stop looking backwards and build a relationship with Dan. Faith has a word with Chloe about staying away from Mack. At Tug Ghyll, Vanessa teases Tracy about her new partner, Ollie. Vanessa fears her sister is settling and her heart is not really in it, especially when Vanessa notices Tracy isn't wearing her engagement ring and Tracy admits she hasn't told Nate she's engaged yet.

Part Four: Mack panics when Charity mentions she's been talking to Chloe but he soon breathes a sigh of relief when he realises she doesn't know anything. Once Charity is out of earshot, Mack thanks Faith for keeping quiet. Chas and Al sneak off to meet in each other behind pub where Chas has a go at Al for saying yes to Kerry's proposal. Al explains he wasn't going to humiliate Kerry by breaking up with her in public, but he's not going to marry her, telling Chas she's the only woman in his life. Nicola and Jimmy bump into Charles in the street. Charles has sympathy for what Nicola is going through and tells her he would do anything to make this easier for her. Jimmy orders him to make his daughter plead guilty then and make her friends do the same. Charles tells Nicola that as her vicar, he's there to support her. However, when Charles mentions how difficult today was for Naomi too, an infuriated Nicola decides to speak to the Bishop declaring Charles isn't fit to be the vicar. Al promises Chas that soon it'll just be them and Eve. As the pair kiss, they are caught by Aaron. With Harriet not keen on going to the restaurant, Dan instead surprises her with a meal at Woodbine Cottage but Harriet's heart isn't really in it. Aaron is disgusted with Chas for cheating on Paddy. He questions what she was thinking and with Al of all people. Chas tries to explain her actions by stating she was struggling with everything that's going on with Faith; Paddy was always working or with Marlon and Al was there. Aaron is disgusted. He issues Chas with an ultimatum, either she ends thing with Al and tells Paddy the truth, or he's going to leave again..
