Plot[]

Part One: Kyle is upset that Cain isn't home yet. Moira promises him they'll all be together soon. Charity summons Rhona to the pub to get to the bottom of what happened between her and Naomi yesterday. As they're talking, Naomi arrives for work and soon she and Rhona are squabbling again. Kim has meetings about the stud farm so leaves Gabby in charge of everything else. Gabby vows to make the most of the opportunity Kim has given her and suggests they modernise their marketing. Naomi tells Charles she's been fired because of her row with Rhona. Leyla asks David how Jacob is and if he stuck to the story. David believes Leyla is more concerned about keeping herself out of trouble than Jacob's welfare and orders her to stay away from him. Charles drops by Smithy Cottage to tell Rhona that Charity sacked Naomi and it's down to her to sort it. When April learns the argument was about her belly button piercing, she reveals she got the idea for social media, not Naomi. Amy, Matty, Moira, and Mack are all approached by police officers and asked to come down to the station.

Part Two: In spite of the warning to stay away, Leyla visits Jacob in hospital to find out what he said to the police. David is furious to see her there. At the police station, DS Raveley interviews Matty who insists they all believed it was Cain who killed Al. Mack goes down the "no comment" route, whilst Moira also insists she also thought Cain killed Al. DS Raveley wants to know why Amy took Kyle away from the village. Amy states it was to clear his head although DS Raveley suggests it was to stop him talking to the police. DS Raveley also quizzes Moira about their time away from the village but Moira sticks to the story. DS Raveley senses Matty is the weak-link and warns him he could be facing charges of perverting the course of justice. Matty is terrified at the thought of prison but keeps tight lipped. Rhona asks Charity to give Naomi her job back. Charity agrees. Jacob is furious to realise Leyla blames him for the stabbing and reminds her it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't scoring again. He orders her to leave, telling her he's ashamed of her. Gabby has sent out an e-leaflet without having anyone look over it first. Rhona calls by Woodbine Cottage and tells Naomi she can have her job back. She also apologises and admits she overreacted. Naomi accepts her apology but is still angry. Back at Butlers Farm, Moira, Mack, Amy, and Matty regroup. They all stuck to the story but Matty isn't happy about it. He reminds his co-conspirators that they've technically covered up a murder, and if they're caught, they could all be facing a life sentence.
