Plot[]
Part One: Bob is hungover and in a foul mood which is made worse when he sees Liam. It's the morning after Laurel's kidnapping; Laurel is understandably struggling whilst Arthur wonders if Colin will go to prison. Amelia calls Noah over to Dale Head to tell him about her and Dan nearly going on the run yesterday. Bob vents to Jimmy about Wendy and Liam's affair, admitting he can't get past it. Jimmy advises him to dump Wendy then but Bob doesn't want to. Jimmy realises Bob still loves Wendy so he urges him to sort things out. Lydia shows Sam the front page of the Hotten Courier which features the story of Laurel's kidnap. Afterwards, Sam reveals Cain organised for Dan, Amelia, and Esther to run away yesterday but they changed their mind. Unaware Samson is listening into their conversation, Lydia ponders if Amelia and Esther should move into Wishing Well Cottage when Dan goes to prison. Noah is hurt that Amelia was going to run away without telling him. Amelia wonders what she's going to do without Dan. Noah suggests she and Esther move into Jacobs Fold but Amelia wants to stay at Dale Head so Dan has somewhere to live when he gets out of prison. Wendy fills Victoria in on yesterday's events. Victoria believes Wendy need to think of a way to keep Bob and Bernice apart before something happens between the pair. Jai does his best to comfort Laurel and suggests she phones victim support. Wendy confronts Bernice and tells her she needs to move out of the B&B. When Bob learns of this, he is confused as to why Wendy wants Bernice to leave. Wendy states they've got zero chance of sorting out their relationship with Bernice waiting in the wings so either Bernice goes or she does.
Part Two: Lydia is excited about the prospect of Amelia and Esther moving into Wishing Well Cottage but Samson makes it clear he doesn't want them there. He reiterates he doesn't want to be a dad and questions why she and Sam can't accept that. Samson's objections, combined with the lack of space plus Zak's ailing health makes Sam realise it wouldn't be a good idea so Lydia has to drop it. Wendy packs her bags and leaves the B&B, making a scene in front customers as she goes. Laurel informs Jai she's going to see a counsellor from victim support tomorrow. Talk soon turns to Rishi's funeral and Laurel urges Jai to talk about his feelings as Colin didn't and the kidnapping was a direct result of him suppressing his grief. Bob is furious to see a care-free Liam walking up Main Street. He decides to wipe the smile off his face and has to be held back by Bernice. Jai tells Laurel how Nikhil and Priya were talking about their memories of Rishi at the funeral and for the first time, he felt estranged from his siblings. Laurel encourages Jai to talk to them but Jai can't. Their conversation is interrupted when Laurel receives a call from the police informing her Colin has been sectioned. After hanging up, Laurel again encourages Jai to open up otherwise he'll end up like Colin. Jai stares at a photograph of Rishi and breaks down in tears, admitting he just wants one last hug from Rishi. Laurel comforts him. As Bob drowns his sorrows, Bernice asks him what he intends to do about Wendy, offhandedly asking if he intends to kill Liam. Bob comments that's not a bad idea as Liam needs to pay for his life being in tatters.
