Moira books her an appointment with a therapist and John gets in a dispute with Brenda. Aaron invites Jackson on a night out in Hotten. Once Paddy and Marlon get wind of their plans, they invite themselves along but are shocked to be going to a gay bar. However, their soon in the elements and it seems Aaron and Jackson are sturdy. But when Aaron spots Mickey Hall getting out of his car outside the club, he's starved for revenge. Despite Jackson warning him to leave it, Aaron is determined to make him pay, causing a huge row between the two boys and Jackson states that this is the end of their relationship. Jackson jumps in his van and Aaron jumps in after him. They sit in sullen silence as they drive back from town until Jackson confronts Aaron about his behaviour and reluctance to own up to his feelings. Aaron gets angry and orders Jackson to stop the van. After an anguished moment, Aaron opens up that Jackson is the best thing that has ever happened to him, helped him to be who he is. But he can't tell him he loves him because he doesn't know what it feels like. Jackson's devastated and jumps back into his van. Aaron rings Jackson's mobile as he drives off, fumbling for the phone through tear-filled eyes, he knocks it to the floor by mistake. Looking up, he sees a cement mixer stopped in the road and swerves to avoid it. The van hurtles through a gate and into a field where it rolls over through another fence and comes to rest on the railway lines. As Aaron watches helpless, Jackson is trying to get a bearing on his surroundings. Aaron starts running down the road as the blinking lights of a level crossing beam. Suddenly, Jackson looks up at a noise as a train smashes into the van sending it skidding off the tracks. Jackson lies in the wreckage unconscious and bleeding.
