Bev Murphy was the celebrant who conducted the cremation service of Gordon Livesy in late May 2016. Only four people were present at the service, Gordon's ex-wife Chas Dingle, his children Aaron Dingle and Olivia Flaherty, and Aaron's partner Robert Sugden. During the service, Bev spoke about the pain Gordon caused to the people closest to him and how she had to call up the warden of HMP Hotten to find out about Gordon. Liv, couldn't bear hearing Bev talk about her dad and walked out. Liv later returned to the service, as Aaron was talking to Gordon's coffin.
Bev was credited as 'Celebrant' despite her name being revealed.
