Jack is so unhappy with the amount of milk produced that he calls in the vet to check them out. Meanwhile, Matt and Dolly struggle to decide on a baby name, whilst Jackie is interviewed for the army.
Plot[]
The MMB Man arrives to collect the milk from Emmerdale Farm. Alan is getting increasingly irritated at the office. Jackie gets talking to another man also applying for the army. He tells Jackie he's considering changing his mind. Andy tries to talk Sandie into going to youth club. Jackie is interviewed by the army officer. The officer asks if Tom has been in trouble with the law, he is hesitant on answering. Dolly considers naming the baby either "Edward Nigel" or "Nicola Geraldine". Alan gets a chance to prove to Peter Mason that NY Estates could really help him - something that would really help NY. Martin checks over the cows that aren't producing enough milk but he can't find any problems and suggests they change the feed. Sandie doesn't think Jackie will join the army but Jackie is insistent.
