Farewell Charity was a special programme that aired on 1st March 2005 on ITV. It was a tribute to Charity Dingle and Emma Atkins when she first left the show in 2005 and featured behind the scenes interviews from the actress' first time (2000-2005) on the show.
In this special, Charity Dingle's dark and dangerous past is revisited from her first thieving episode to her final sensational exit. Those who believe charity is a virtue haven't met Charity Dingle. Throughout her time in Emmerdale she lied, cheated, loved and lusted her way through village life. This special includes behind the scenes interviews with the people who made it all happen and joins actress Emma Atkins during her final days playing Emmerdale's best loved bad girl.
Charity returned to Emmerdale in 2009 and so this special only focuses on her first stint in the show.
