DS Gareth Anders was a police officer who arrived on the scene when Steph Forsythe rang the police in July 2006 after being kidnapped by her husband Adam, who had absconded. He questioned Steph later for the suspected murder of her brother Terence Turner but released her on bail.
Anders arrested Nick Callow and Gary Dench in October 2006 after Eli Dingle set them up for the robbery at the Post Office. He appeared during Steph and Adam's trial in November 2006 for the murder of Terence, in which the pair were sentenced to life imprisonment.
