Maggie is a resident of Turnfield Court Care Home where Ashley Thomas lives. On the day Ashley moved into the care home in February 2017, his wife Laurel ran into Maggie outside Ashley's room. Maggie asks Laurel what she though of her hair and Laurel was surprised that Maggie was also a resident of the care home as she though she was a visitor. Later Laurel found Ashley and Maggie talking and laughing in the lounge area. Whilst they were talking, Maggie asked Ashley if they knew each other. They concluded they did before proceeding to have some tea. After seeing Ashley and Maggie getting on well, Laurel and step-daughter Gabby decided not to say a big goodbye to Ashley.
