Twitcher (1988 character)

In March 1988, word got round that a rare bird, a Siberian Thrush, had been seen in Beckindale. So some bird watchers, otherwise known as twitchers, came to Beckindale to see it. One of the twitchers, who had dark hair and wore a hat was looking through a long telescope when Seth Armstrong went to chat to him. Seth chatted to him for a minute but the twitcher did not respond. As Seth walked off, the twitcher looked on, perplexed. The twitcher was among those who later went to The Woolpack for some food and drink before they all left the village to see a Ross' Gull on the Yorkshire coast.
