France is the country across the channel from England and is located in Western Europe.
- 1995 - A bus broke down that was supposed to be taking the villagers to France.
- 2012 - Aaron Livesy ran away with Ed Roberts after confessing to a fire started by Adam Barton. He returned in August 2014.
- 2016 - Debbie Dingle started living there from New Years Day 2016 with kids Sarah and Jack. The three later returned to the village in January 2017.
