Frankie Smith was the girlfriend of Zoe Tate. Frankie's friend Pete Collins was killed in a bus crash in 2000, in which a Tate Haulage lorry collided with a minibus. Frankie felt that the Tates didn't care that people had died, putting her relationship with Zoe on the rocks. However, Zoe showed her that she does care but she also cares about her business and Frankie forgives her.
