Gail Loman is the former girlfriend of Ryan Stocks as well as the mother of Ryan's son Oscar Grisham who the couple placed for adoption.
In 2023, Gail was hired as kitchen assistant at The Woolpack but was later sacked by Marlon Dingle and was instead offered the job as a barmaid.

2023: Reconnecting with her son[]
In September 2023, It was revealed that they had a son, Oscar, born in 2010, whom she had given up for adoption. Oscar was now thirteen and he was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, prompting his adoptive mother, Sophie, to contact Gail. Gail underwent testing and discovered she was a match for a bone marrow transplant, leading to a successful surgery and a tentative reunion with Oscar.
2024-2025 Moving in with Ryan; and Relationship Breakdown[]
Their relationship faced challenges, notably when Gail's pet rat Daniel passed away due to her divided attention between Ryan and her pet. This incident led Ryan to suggest they live together to strengthen their bond. Gail agreed, and they began searching for a place to live, Ryan suggested Tall Tree's cottage as it was vacant at the time but Gail was completely put off by the idea after a short while of staying there as she was convinced there was a ghost at the cottage called Noreen.
In May 2025, tensions escalated between the couple. A "Mr and Mrs" game revealed their emotional disconnect, and differing aspirations, particularly regarding potentially running The Woolpack in the future, This differing of opinion, highlighted their growing apart and Ryan's lack of self awareness towards his partner Gail and she ultimately decided to end their on and off relationship, realising she no longer loved Ryan and left to run a B&B in Devon with her friend Fanny.
