Gillian Louise Kearney (born 9th May 1972 in Aigburth, Liverpool, Lancashire) is an English actress who portrayed Emma Barton in Emmerdale from January 2015 to December 2017, and returned briefly for a flashback appearance in September 2024.
Known for her roles as Debbie McGrath in Brookside from 1986 to 1989 and Jessica Harrison in Casualty from 2008 to 2010, Kearney has also appeared in Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders, Clocking Off, Where the Heart Is, Shameless, Silent Witness and Vera.
