Helsinki is the capital city of Finland.
In February 2004, Laurel Potts planned to go to Helsinki but stayed after realising that Ashley Thomas turning up at the airport was in order to stop her leaving. However, thinking she had left, Ashley boarded a plane to Helsinki in order to catch up with her.
In December 2016, whilst suffering from dementia, Ashley talks about how he bought a ticket to Helsinki but his girlfriend had decided to stay in England, so he ended up going to Finland when she hadn't even left the country.
