Hugh Chadband was the vicar of Robblesfield Church. In May 1978, Donald Hinton visited Hugh and questioned him over Hannah Elizabeth Gough, whose skull had been recently found. Hugh did some digging and discovered that Hannah married Matthew Pearson in Robblesfield Church, Matthew making a connection to the village, having the same surname as Sam Pearson.
