An unnamed ICU Consultant tried to take Robert Sugden out of his medically induced coma after two weeks in early October 2015. It did not work and he warned Robert's family that the longer he is in the coma the less of a chance of a full recovery. Two weeks later, Robert came out of the coma on his own and the consultant performed a few tests and told Robert he was doing well but he still had a long road ahead of him.
