Jenny was the manager of a care home that Ashley Thomas and Laurel Dingle visited in January 2016 to plan ahead after Ashley was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
Jenny gave Ashley and Laurel a tour of the grounds and she was slightly surprised that they were looking around for Ashley and not a parent. She assured Ashley that the care standards were very high and tailored to individual needs. Laurel was surprised that the staff locked the doors but Jenny explained it was for resident's safety.
