Julia Mallam (born Julia Oglesby; 1st August 1982 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire) is an English actress who portrayed Dawn Woods in Emmerdale from February 2003 until the character was killed off in the King's River showhome explosion in July 2006.
She joined the National Youth Theatre at the age of sixteen.
Mallam has also appeared in Peak Practice, Fat Friends, Doctors, The Bill and Casualty and portrayed Tracey Trickster in the 2008 CITV series Captain Mack. In 2007, she took part in the ITV reality show Soapstar Superchef alongside Emmerdale stars such as Sherrie Hewson, Hayley Tamaddon and Mathew Bose.
