Jurell Joshua Carter (born 14th March 1992 in Leicester) is an English actor who has portrayed Nate Robinson in Emmerdale since April 2019.
Carter was born to an English mother and Jamaican father. He graduated from The Liverpool Insitute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2016 and was the first of three actors to ever receive a BAFTA scholarship back in 2015 to aid him in his final year of training. Before Emmerdale he was known for VS. (2018) and Kiri (2018) and has appeared in Doctors and Home, he has also done voiceover and commercial work.
