Louise Beattie (born 29th September 1964 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former actress and writer who portrayed Laura Johnstone in Emmerdale from July 1998 to August 2000.
Beattie has also appeared in City Lights, Blood Red Roses, Taggart, Rab C. Nesbitt, Inspector Morse, Screen Two, The Bill, Peak Practice and Two Thousand Acres of Sky. She has since retired from acting and has trained to be a lawyer.
