Madeleine Howard (born 15th March 1951 in London) is an English actress who portrayed Sarah Sugden in Emmerdale from April 1988 to August 1994 before Alyson Spiro took over the role the following month.
Howard has also appeared in Gems, The Bill, Peak Practice, Doctors and Holby City.
