Margaret Warcup is one of the twin daughters of Robert and Polly Warcup. Polly went into labour in the Warcups' cottage on Christmas Eve and was assisted by Maggie Sugden and Rose Haywood, who helped when one of the babies got stuck. Margaret is named after Maggie Sugden.
