Not to be confused with 1979 character Martha More.

Martha Moore was the late wife of Harry Moore. She was the daughter of elderly parents by the time she died. Sometime prior to 1950, Martha Moore drowned, she actually killed herself, but the coroner ruled it was an accident, however there were rumours spread. Due to this, Harry became a recluse, and became estranged from the village. In May 1980, Harry himself died from a heart attack.
