Hi Boushenheiser, my name is Antonio and I am a Community Manager of the TV/Movies vertical for Fandom. I wanted to introduce myself and see if you need anything, have any problems, or would like to share any ideas you have. As you may already know, our Community Org is changing. From now on our team will focus even more on building closer relationships with the communities, admins, and users.
We are here to support you and help make this community thrive. If you need anything, feel free to contact me or our Wiki Manager directly at any time. And just so you know, Wiki Managers might be more available than me on weekends.
I will be here together to SilverFlight -Wiki Manager- for anything you need.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I hope to hear back from you soon! :)
Just thought I'd quickly point out to you something I've just realised - in last night's episode, Lydia revealed that 'Lydia Hart' was a name she'd taken from some other woman, and so that means that Hart is not her married name, therefore her husband Steve Hart is not called Steve Hart, therefore should that page be renamed?
I have noticed quite a few errors in this storyline. Could be that Lydia married someone with the surname Hart as well but surely when Lydia was said to be a relative of Mrs Dumphreys, then it would have flagged up that the real Lydia Hart died circa 1992/1993.
Would you not agree that Frank should be in the kill count for the same reasons that people consider Michael Rodwell in Pat Phelan's kill counts in Coronation Street? Kim knew what she was doing. She knew of Frank's dodgy heart and she intentionally let him die.
Also, if Qazwsx1972 didn't just blindly undo my edit every time he would notice that in doing so he is also removing Nick Bates from the attempted murder list, and he definitely should be there.
Also I apologise for the edit warring. I intended to report the situation to you the next time he undid my edit but obviously you yourself got there first. It was never my intention to be counterproductive in this way; I exist across Fandom merely to help and caretake when and where I can. He's just been making it difficult for me recently.
Again, I'm sorry about my part in the edit war. I only ever carry out edits with good intentions.
I personally don't believe Kim could be considered to have murdered Frank, as although she left him to die, she didn't cause his weak heart and she didn't bring on the heart attack by spiking him, or poisoning him, ect. I can't comment on if Phelan did or didn't kill Michael as I only vaguely remember it, and even then, it's irrelevant.
Like Frank's death, Max, Katie and Sarah's deaths may or may not be considered murders depending on your perspective. It looks like Qazwsx mentioned in his edit summary for removing Max and Katie from Robert's page that because the definition of murder is premeditated act of killing, he doesn't believe Robert murdered them so he removed that.
All these deaths are open to interpretation which is why I strongly, strongly believe the Emmerdale wikia should follow Corriepedia in scrapping the Murderer/Murder Victim categories and also removing the kill counts as it would save a hell of a lot of disagreements.
Both you and Qazwsx have undo each others valid edits over the past few weeks. I believe both of you have good intentions with regards to your edits, which is nothing to apologise for. The problem lies in differences of opinion and lack of communication and discussion. I should've intervened earlier to prevent it getting so bad and for that I apologise. Hopefully this situation doesn't arise again, but if it does, maybe try leaving a message the other person's wall to discuss things before engaging in edit warring.
I believe both you and Qazwsx have good intentions but Qazwsx a bit of a bad habit of undoing edits which means a ban will be headed his way once whether Kim did or did not murder Frank is sorted out.
Sorry to bring up an old conversation, but Mark appeared in a 1988 episode of Coronation Street, which he had also appeared in in 1985 and 1987. He was credited as "Mark Jordan" in these episodes, so it's highly likely that, although Mark said that he didn't appear in Emmerdale Farm, he may have gotten mixed up and actually did appear in 1986.
Looks like all the articles about Maya having left after her sentencing last week was wrong! can you remove the last apperance bit (which i added last week) as she appears to be in the cast list for next week's Radio Times! I'm making you aware of this for when you get to Episode 8512 (which i'm guessing might not be for a little bit since you're catching up from being away last week!) https://twitter.com/VodkaVera75/status/1143223581272358913
Thanks for letting me know both about Maya returning and Amba now being credited, although I think we should hold back on removing Maya's last appearance, as like Qazwsx said, it is a spoiler.
I wonder what Vincent the vampire is all about. Seems bizarre.
I'll try to get the outstanding episode pages up as quickly as possible. I was hoping they'd be up to date by the end on June, but I've been so busy the past few days that that's not going to happen. Hopefully they're back on track by the end of next week.
It was in tonight's spoiler summary which read "Jacob reaches out to Maya" which i don't think happened as the episode seemed to be dominated by the Baby mystery so i don't think it's likely
And seperately is it me or do we think Lydia's top of the suspect list for being Jenny Finn-At least we don't have to wait long as we find out who the person in the photo (found by the police tomorrow) resembles.
Yep. I reckon it's pretty obvious it's Lydia. That comment in tonight's episode about her past before coming to Emmerdale confirms it for me. (There was a spoiler pic that showed a detective? holding a photo and I reckon it looks like Lydia). It would explain why she reached out to Chas about Grace as she'd lost a baby too and could also explain why she's a bereavement counsellor too. I just really hope they don't go down the road that Lydia killed the baby.
