Mowlam's House was a house that was once owned by a Sam Beckett but was then bought by quarry owner and farmer Harry Mowlam in late 1985. Mowlam had been involved in a robbery, and used the proceeds to raise the money to buy the house. Mowlam's residence in the property was short lived as in January 1986 he was killed by his partner in crime Derek Warner. In March 1986, it was said that Mowlam's House would be going on the market. It is unknown who moved into the house after Mowlam died.
