Niall Costigan appeared in Emmerdale as neonatalist Dr Galloway in March 2016.
He has also appeared in State of Mind, Casualty, Vera and the documentary series Autopsy: The Last Hours of..., with further roles in feature films Rita, Sue and Bob Too, Affected and Brash Young Turks and the short film Getting Clean.
He is the son of actor George Costigan, who also appeared in Emmerdale in 2010 as conman Charlie Haynes , and whom starred in Rita, Sue and Bob Too.
